Hey all!

Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've been putting so much effort into being physically ready and all the things I need to get for training camp that I forgot about my heart and getting that ready. I can't believe the most important thing is what I'd been neglecting the most. But I'm so thankful that I have such a gentle and caring father in heaven. He always sees me and answers questions I haven't even asked Him yet. Sometimes I forget my purpose and start to fill my days with anything but Him, even things for Him that I never asked about can be a huge distraction. But no matter how much I ignore Him or try to tune Him out He's there with that still small voice calling me back into close community. Community with my savior is the absolute best place to be and its the only place to find true joy. I would encourage you to take some time today to be still and listen. Turn your phone off, open your bible, and just rest in the presence of the creator of the world. It'll change your life, and if that feels to extreme it'll change your day too, I know it changed mine. 

So here's some trip updates I've been sitting on for no particular reason. 

• I'm officially 30% funded!!! 
• I leave for training camp in just 16 days :D
• I've had the opportunity to get on some zoom calls and meet some of my squad mates (They're pretty awesome!) 
• I've had the privilege of meeting one squad mate in person and I'll be meeting a few more this weekend! Yay friends! 
• I have some incredibly generous supporters who have taken care of some important gear for my trip. Like... 

   And much more I just don't have pictures of everything yet. 

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has partnered with me to make this journey possible! I'm beyond grateful!
