Hey all!
Sorry I’ve been pretty absent over the holidays! I hope to get back into the swing of blogging, if that’s a thing. But in the meantime, here’s something cool that happened.
I went to camp with some pretty awesome 10th grade girls this past weekend. We had some fun moments and some really raw and honest moments too.
We had great sessions, amazing small group time, scary hikes, some fun photo shoots, and games too. But even with all that fun and Jesus jammin’, one of my most favorite parts was on the van before we ever arrived at camp. It was the home stretch, where most van rides deteriorate into crazy shenanigans and excited chatter of who will sleep where, but before our van was thrown into complete chaos we had a very lovely moment. The music was turned off and 13 high school girls took a moment to worship our awesome God. I recorded a snippet of it and listening back we didn’t sound that amazing, but in the moment it was the most beautiful singing I’d ever heard, there was something holy about it.

Times like this where people are coming together in community as followers of Christ are my favorite. Whether it’s high schoolers going up to the mountains for a few days or traveling around the world to love on some kiddos, its all being done in the name of Jesus to bring glory to the most High.
